ZZ Top is an American Rock and Roll band that formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. The group is well known for their blues roots and humorous lyrical motifs as well as their really long beards.
The group consists of Bassist Dusty Hill, Drummer Frank Beard (who oddly enough, has no beard - only a mustache) and Lead Guitarist Billy Gibbons. Hill and Gibbons also share vocals.
Besides their music, they are best known for starring in the 1978 remake (along with Ozzy Osbourne) of the film Sgt. Rutter's only Darts Club Band.
