I Wanna Be Karl Marx is a 1999 studio album by Barry Wom. It is both a Christmas album and a dedication to Karl Marx, revolutionary and writer of The Communist Manifesto. It was a critical success, unlike his previous attempts at holiday albums, but was a commercial failure due to him again releasing it in March. |

I've Got You Under My Skin is a song written by Cole Porter and covered by The Rutles. It was often sung by the band during live performances at Der Rat Keller, where Ron Nasty would often get the lyrics completely wrong. Another version was included on Please Rut Me. "Under My Skin" was part of the Rutles' repertoire in 1960-1962 and performed at Der Rat Keller in Hamburg. They notably were not particularly good at remembering the real lyrics, causing Ron to make clear gaffes during the recording. Another version of this was released on their second album, Please Rut Me, and then on several American albums. |
Things we gotta get done: |

We are saddened to report the passing of the key creative force being the music of The Rutles, known to all of us as Ron Nasty. You can visit his website here, where there are two rare Rutles albums currently up for purchase. The shop is being run by his family.
Also, consider supporting Barry Wom, whose new release of a DVD includes several new songs alongside a long interview. You can find this on his official eBay page, which he will also sign for you. It's only around $11.
