The hodgepodge nature in which Capitol Records compiled their albums irritated the prefab four, who felt they had "put a lot of work into the sequencing" of the British versions. They also felt upset and the removal of the original baby cover, which they worked particularly hard on. "If we can't put out messages like that, then what's this all been about?"
