Punk Floyd at the Speed of the Brick in the Wall is the sixth album by Punk Floyd and was released 1976 during a massive world tour while Punk Floyd were at the peak of their powers. It is a concept album about a man named Dirk and his quest to brew a perfect cup of tea. All the songs on the album feature tea references.
At 80 minutes in length, it was the longest solo album Dirk had recorded at that point.
Background[]
Released in 1976, during the height of their popularity, Punk Floyd at the Brick in the Wall in considered to be the band's most iconic piece. With all the songs on the albums containing tea references, it is the second album Dirk recorded while heavily influenced by tea (the first being Sgt. Rutter's Only Darts Club Band while a member of The Rutles).
