Mullets Take Moxy was Barry Wom's ninth studio album. Released 9 years after his last album, 1983's Old Shave, is was critically acclaimed, and his most succesful album since before his stunt into Halloween music. By this point, Barry had begun to transition to a mix of his 1980's "Barber Ballads" and the classic Rutland sound, although the former never truly went away. It was produced by Ron Bas, Peter Asher, Bill Ramon, and Jeff Lynne.
