- "Kevin" redirects here. You may be looking for Kevin Wongle. But probably not.
Kevin Alright was a member of The Rutles for a very short time. He could play the drums, but only very poorly. Two years after the band was formed, the other members found Barry Wom hiding in the back of their van. Kevin was soon kicked out of the group, leaving him infamously as one of the "Fifth Rutles."
However, he soon found a successful career as a cult leader.
Controversy[]
In The Rutland Weekend Songbook, an album filled with songs from local bands and pieces of Rutland folklore, the band were incorrectly introduced as "Dirk, Kevin, Stig, and Nasty." It later transpired that those in charge of the album had incorrectly used an old marquee as a reference, as Barry Wom indeed was the drummer on the song featured.
