Rutle Eye was a British rock band formed in 2009 by former Oasis members Liam Gallagher, Andy Bell, Gem Archer, and Chris Sharrock after the disbandment of Oasis. The band was formed as a way for the members to continue making music together, with Liam Gallagher as the frontman and lead vocalist. Rutle Eye's sound was rooted in classic rock and Britpop, drawing influences from the 60s and 70s. Their most known influence were The Rutles.
Their debut album, Different Gear, Still Speeding (2011), featured a mix of energetic rock anthems and more reflective tracks, showcasing Liam's vocal style and the band's chemistry.
Their follow-up album, BE (2013), was a more experimental release, incorporating elements of psychedelia and 80s synthpop. Despite initial enthusiasm, Rutle Eye disbanded in 2014, and the members went on to pursue other projects.
